Mother and author April Fore knew that starting a YouTube channel with her daughter Tahlia (pronounced Tuh-lee-Yuh) was kind of a no-brainer. Tahlia loves YouTube and even has the lingo down. Whenever she would go on Facebook live to promote her children’s book series - The Adventures of E.G.G. or on a Zoom call, Tahlia would always make her presence known with her signature greeting, “Hey Guys.” This made viewers smile and comment greetings back to her as she stole the show.
April and her little broke best friend have the most fun trying out new things, traveling, cooking, or just hanging out due to the both of them having huge personalities. The ability to make others laugh effortlessly creates a fun-filled adventure every time. After seeing this, April decided to document their time together and capture their memories to share.
The cooking segments featuring all products sold at Aldi’s, which is April and Tahlia’s favorite store, show viewers how to cook economical, healthy meals while also showing that learning can be fun for all ages. With April being an avid DIYer, she once made a headboard for her sister. April lives by the motto “ if you don’t see it, create it,” which reigns true in many aspects of her life.
Tahlia absolutely loves being in front of the camera just as April does, so the success of their new YouTube Channel 2FORE1 becoming a household name is only one click away.
April states, “I’m looking forward to growing our channel and making many more fun-filled memories with my mini!”
April is the creator and author of The Adventures of E. G. G. ( Emma Grace Godwins) series. After enduring a devastating loss in 2014, a class assignment sparked her to create her children’s book series to honor the memory of her daughter Emma Grace Godwins. Writing the series was both cathartic and therapeutic as she dealt with the loss of Emma Grace. In fact, it wasn’t until her daughter was diagnosed with Turner Syndrome that she had even heard of the rare condition. When she didn’t find any children’s books about Turner Syndrome, she, in turn, created them. April knew she wanted to honor her daughter’s memory, bring awareness to Turner Syndrome, and empower the strong, resilient, and beautiful butterflies ( girls with TS are called butterflies) out there. The first two books released in the series are The Adventures Of E.G.G. (Emma Grace Godwins): E.G.G. Gets A New Friend and Adventures of E.G.G. (Emma Grace Godwins): EGG Gets New Ears and more on the way. The Adventures of E.G.G. showcases the beauty of being unique!
April is also the Director of Development at Chick-fil-A Seaboard Commons in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. As the Director of Development, she works closely with current and future leaders within her team to cultivate their leadership skills.
